Position Overview & Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures product compliance at the point of production, data analysis, and support for root cause investigations. This is achieved by auditing processes, hands-on, in assisting in diagnosing quality issues. This role is key in maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.

Hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.

Position Job Duties: 
  • Interact with operators and helpers to ensure standard work is done consistently.
  • Provide technical support for all operations.
  • Assist operators on diagnosing and rectifying any production issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for operators and helpers.
  • Select and test products at various production stages.
  • Monitor and advise on condition and replacement of machinery and tools.
  • Perform destructive and non-destructive testing.
  • Collaborate with management and engineering on standards.
  • Record and evaluate test and performance data, noting deviations.
  • Input data into analysis systems.
  • Conduct and document production audits.
  • Regular collaboration and reporting to quality team.
  • Follow safety and procedural guidelines strictly.
  • Execute routine tasks accurately and timely.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Desired Background:
  • 2–4 years in wire and cable or related industry.
  • Experience with various software systems.
  • Project management and Lean Manufacturing familiarity.
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass a background check, drug screen and physical.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • US Citizen or permanent resident.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
  • Ability to walk long distances within the plant and between workstations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle small tools and lab equipment.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions as needed.
  • Tolerance to working in varying environmental conditions (e.g., heat, noise).
